Lam Yan Nga has been named one of the ten Outstanding Cadets of the Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps for 2025. The award presentation ceremony took place on 23 May 2025 at the Civil Aid Service Headquarters.

The selection process for the Outstanding Cadet Award is highly competitive. Candidates must first be nominated by their division officers and then undergo a series of evaluations, including a written test, an impromptu speech, group discussions, leadership assessments, and skills tests in drill performance and uniform management. The top ten cadets with the highest overall scores are awarded this prestigious title.
