Notes to Applicants for S1 Registration Days (9-10 July 2026)
1. Documents required
a. Admission Slip
b. Hong Kong Birth Certificate, Hong Kong Identity Card or other documentary evidence showing the resident status in Hong Kong and date of birth for verification (If the student’s Hong Kong Identity Card bears the symbol ‘C’ [for conditional stay] at the line below the date of birth, please also bring along other valid travel documents).
2. School miscellaneous fee：HK$900
A cheque payable to “THE IMC OF WA YING COLLEGE”; or
cash of the exact fee (HK$1,000 banknote is not accepted)
3. Other fees
a. Parents are encouraged to join the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Parents may enroll as members of the PTA with a payment of HK$200 membership fee on-site. For more information, please contact the Parent Volunteers at the fee collection counter.
b. All S1 students are required to join the orientation day on 28 August 2026 and they will have their lunch at school. The lunch box can be ordered on the registration day and the fee is $29.
c. All S1 students are required to join the bridging program on both 2 and 3 September 2026 and they will have their lunch at school. The lunch boxes can be ordered on the registration day and the fee is $58.
4. To introduce our school to all newcomers, there will be a parent seminar on 10 July 2026. Parents and students who will newly join our college are welcome. The details are:

中一學生註冊日須知（2026年7月9日及10日）
一. 應備文件：
a. 入學註冊證
b. 香港出生證明書、香港身份證或載有本港居民身份和出生日期的證明文件，以供核對（如學生所持香港身份證上出生日期下有「Ｃ」字標記〔有條件限制居留〕，須同時帶備其他有效旅行證件。）
二. 學校雜費（港幣900元正）
如以支票交費，抬頭請寫「華英中學法團校董會」
如以現金交費，為免找續，請備輔幣（恕不接受港幣仟圓面額鈔票）
三. 其他費用：
a. 家長可於註冊日報名加入家長教師會，有意參加者請帶備所需費用（家長教師會會費港幣200元正）。家長如欲了解詳情，可於當日向負責收費的家長義工查詢。
b. 中一新生須於8月28日參加中一迎新活動日，當天同學須留校午膳，如欲訂購飯盒，請於註冊日訂購並繳付現金$29。
c. 中一新生須於9月2日及3日參加中一級銜接課程，這兩天同學須留校午膳，如欲訂購飯盒，請於註冊日訂購並繳付現金$58。
四. 本校於7月10日為所有新學年加入華英中學的家長及同學舉行迎新講座，讓閣下對本校有初步認識。講座詳情如下﹕

S1 Admission Interview for Discretionary Places of 2026-2027
1. Notification emails regarding the shortlist for the admission interviews—scheduled for Saturday, 14 March 2026—were sent to the parents of all applicants on 5 March 2026.
2. If you cannot find the email in your inbox, please check your "Spam" or "Junk" mail folders. If you still have not received it, please call the school office at 2760 7772 by 12:00 noon 9 March 2026.

The Interview Day for 2026/2027 S1 Admission is scheduled on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
Interview invitations will be sent to shortlisted applicants via email on or before 5 March 2026.

S1 (2026/2027) students are to be admitted through "Secondary 1 (S1) Discretionary Places (DP) Applications" and the Central Allocation according to the Educational Bureau Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System.
