WYC announced the official launch of the Student Alumni Mentoring (SAM) Program 2022-2023 at the first meeting of alumni mentors and student mentees held on 20 October 2022. The initiative was introduced in partnership with Wa Ying College Hong Kong Alumni Association. The SAM program pairs one to two alumni mentors with secondary six students in groups of three to six.

Over 40 students, alumni and teacher mentors attended the meeting. Hearing from alumni mentors who recounted their trials and tribulations in their careers, secondary six students are definitely able to make informed decisions over their further studies and career pursuits.
