We were delighted to welcome a delegation from our sister school, Beijing National Day Experimental School (北京十一實驗中學). Under the theme "Shared Roots between Beijing and Hong Kong, Connected Youth" (京港同脈.青春同維), the visit extended beyond our campus, offering a journey through Hong Kong’s legal, academic, and school life.
To broaden the students' horizons, two external visits were arranged. The delegation visited the Court of Final Appeal, where they appreciated the historic British-style architecture. We were honoured to have our alumnus, Judge Wong King Wah, personally guide the students. Additionally, the group visited the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Through exchanges with admissions officers and current students, the visiting students explored academic planning and future opportunities.
Back on campus, the delegation participated in Wa Ying’s unique curriculum. In the English Drama lesson, teachers encouraged students to use improvisation and body language to build confidence. During the Design and Technology lesson, the practical task fostered peer-to-peer learning, exemplifying the Wa Ying spirit of mutual support. The connection between the students extended to the basketball court, where they continued to bond over a friendly game during their free time.
The visit deepened the friendship between our schools, built on mutual learning, cultural exchange, and the shared pursuit of knowledge.
