Notice of Scam Alert

We have recently been made aware of a number of scams falsely using the name of our school or fraudsters faking identities as our staff. These scams have mainly been related to urgent procurements of services or goods, requesting manufacturers, companies or individuals to remit to unknown suppliers. These also involved illegal use of our school logo and school chop without our school’s authorization.

In compliance with the Education Bureau’s procurement procedures, our school will not privately instruct service providers to remit any money. Please contact us to check and clarify if you receive any suspicious communications or message suspected of involving the fraudulent activities mentioned above. If you are a victim of such scams, you are strongly advised to immediately report to the police.

本校近月發現有不法分子冒充本校職員，進行採購等詐騙行為，向不知情的廠商、公司或個人謊稱學校以緊急採購為由，購入服務或物品，並要求匯款至不知明的供應商；且未獲本校授權，非法使用本校校徽及校印製造虛假文件。

本校悉依教育局採購程序，不會私下指示服務提供者匯款。本校建議公眾對以上的詐騙行為提高警惕，若閣下接獲任何疑似上述詐騙活動的可疑通訊或訊息，請先行與本校聯絡進行查詢核實，以免遭受詐騙而蒙受損失。若閣下是相關詐騙行為的受害者，強烈建議閣下應即時向執法機關舉報。
