Three WYC teams awarded at the 2nd Hong Kong Secondary School Cosmetic Formulation Competition 2022

Our school sent out three teams of students to take part in the 2^nd Hong Kong Secondary School Cosmetic Formulation Competition (Year 2022) organized by the Department of Chemistry & Office of the Provost of City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong Limited. The competition aimed to arouse students’ interest in cosmetic science and to engage them to apply chemistry knowledge and experimental skills in developing new cosmetic formulations.

Out of nearly 70 participating teams, all WYC teams were shortlisted for each type of product, including “Lip Care Formulation”, “Face Cream/Lotion Formulation” and “Face Cleanser Formulation”. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and achievements in the competition.

Second Runner-up of Face Cream/Lotion Formulation - Cui Haofei, Wan Tsun Hei Jayden

Merit Awards of Lip Care Formulation - Cheng Man Sze, Luo Xuanen, Wong Hiu Ching, Mai Nga Ting
